Reedsburg Makers’ Challenge – July 2024

This month's challenge is to make something that represents "Back To School."

Deadline: July 31st at Midnight

Calling all makers in the Reedsburg area!  Show off your skills and creativity by creating something unique. All forms and styles of making are welcome - paint a landscape, sew a quilt, craft a piece of jewelry, or build a woodworking project. The possibilities are endless!

Rules and Guidelines:

- Must be a member of Reedsburg Area Makers group on Facebook
- Must live or work in Reedsburg
- Mark "Going" or "Interested" to participate
- Keep it appropriate and respectful
- No size restrictions (except it must fit through a door!)
- Take process photos in case you win
- Last month's winner cannot enter
- Post a photo of your completed creation in the event discussions, along with a name, what it's made out of, and how it represents the theme
- Previously made pieces are now allowed*, as long as they are still available to take to Lucy's if you win.
* Food entries only: Please ensure fresh & safe creation for display at Lucy's (refrigerator available). If you wish to sell it before it goes bad, you can provide a framed picture instead, provided that you prove it was made recently and not ages ago.

Voting:

- All creations will be posted in a poll on the first of next month
- Contestants can vote for their own creation
- Anyone can vote by joining the group
- Vote for multiple creations!

Winner:

-  1st place winner's creation will be displayed at Lucy's Main Street Mercantile for all of next month.
