Welcome to Grandma Betty!

I'm an 84 yr old, recently retired from Baraboo School District. I have battled Cancer 11x, last time in Jan.I broke my back yr ago but survived it!  I love crafting, helping others, travel, music gardening, pets, books, singing ,writing, baking, life in gen'l! I'm a mother to one daughter and grandma of 3 grown grandchildren, I make crafts to sell for Grandma Betty's Scholarship Fund for grads entering Med or Educational fields in honor of my parents. I have Betty's Bosom Buddies, where I and others helped make 3 oz crocheted/knitted prosthetic breast forms for women battling Cancer, character hats for UW Children's Hosp, rec'd license for pastor 10 yrs ago, operated homeless shelters for 21 yrs, rescued dogs thru the years, my current one a rescue 8 yrs old, just recently started Grandma Betty's Baked Treats baking out of my home. I took treats I made to my students and decided to continue after retirement and make $ doing it!  I also do genealogy for people, having done my own on both sides back to Biblical times. I just love life and helping others. (I'll put pics up when I figure out how to get them on here!! LOL There's ore I could say but I'm not going to bore you all..!! Glad to be a part of this group.
